“I act because it gives me the chance to absorb and tell someone else's story while uniquely exploring what it might mean to experience life from their perspective. When actors tell people's stories, we offer the audience an opportunity to really take notice of the human beings inside the characters we portray. As audience members observe, connect, and hopefully identify with these characters; an empathy with a powerful connection to humanity is generated. A deeper understanding of each other makes us kinder people who have more positive interactions and healthier relationships with one another. We can then display a kind of love that makes God smile down on us.
Also, I act because it’s hella easy. Like once someone decides to become an actor, they immediately become rich and famous. Duh”
